Matting Graphics

Today I would like to share with you how different a graphic going on the front of a card can look depending on the color of your mattes you choose.

Now, which matting would you choose?? I have several I wouldn't mind doing. Even though I have two with yellow right behind the graphic, I feel they look very different. Please leave your thoughts and comments in the comment box below as it will be interesting to see which one you would like.

  1. I like how it looks different with the change of colors

  2. Yes certain colors can brighten up a graphic while other colors can deepen the colors in the graphic.

  3. I like all of the colors and how each color mat "pops" the corresponding color in the graphic. What I noticed most is how the light yellow brightened the entire graphic, when mounted directly on it...

  4. My fav is the yellow.. then red matting. All are very nice though!

  5. I particularly like the red with black behind; it makes the whole graphic pop, makes it look richer.

  6. I like the yellow then red behind it.... it brings out the colors in the photo, yellow (in the hat) and the red (from the scarf), bringing the colors through the photo.
