Maine Country Charm
Gifts, Scrapbooking & Decorative Painting

Scrapbooking is a very popular craft today.  Restoring the history of our families is important.  On this page I would like to share some of the tips I share with my classes.  Please feel free to use any of the tips and to share your tips with us.

*Do NOT write on the back of your photos with an ink pen.  This, in time, could bleed through to the front of the picture and therefore ruin it. Use a photo safe pencil.

*Remember to note the who, what, where and when of your photos. It's so easy to forget some of the important items we need to journal to pass down your family's history.

*When taking pictures of young children playing on the floor or ground, you should get on their level to get a better prospective.  This way it won't look like you are towering over them.

*Having trouble finding a graphic or clipart for an unusual themed page?  Just check out www.google.com and click on images and type in what you are searching for.
